V81 DME Progman 29.2 with SSTT???

I know that 0002s have SSTT. Does anyone else have SSTT with V81 DME Progman 29.2 (March 2008 production)? Any problems?

Thanks 0002s. I just wanted to hear it from a fellow 135i owner instead of the distrubutor. I'll pick one up then.

I installed an SSTT in a friends car 2 months back. There's been absolutely no problems or any codes thrown.

My friend just said make sure you only use the highest octane available to maintain top end power.

Mad.

NO

29.2 is a code update for V81 DME chips. BMW installs this code to fix/update many aspects of the car.

Some are saying that it makes the care less responsive and others say no.

Nobody has conclusive proof and thus the rumors.

Thankyou sir. I will have to see how another Magazine test for the 2009 135i turns out later in the year. This would be unexceptable to have a slower less responsive 135i.

The dealer will also update your earlier v80 ECU with Progman 29.2 if you don't demand otherwise.
