Anyone with an iphone tried this App?
Dynolicious
http://gizmodo.com/5030749/iphone-ap...formance-meter Looks quite interesting. Couple of motoring sites have done reviews and the consensus is that it's remarkably accurate. Going to have to download this when I get home and try it. Not bad for $12.99, and uses the accelerometer to perform the calcs. Though, race chrono is free http://www.dynolicious.com/

Damn, I wish I hadn't seen this.
I've being trying to avoid the temptation to get an iPhone. I spent an evening playing with one a few weeks back, and whilst it was cool it didn't truly impress me. And that says a lot coming from a lifetime Apple/Mac user. But apps like these are pushing me towards it.....

I think I'm going to upgrade my original iphone to the new 3G iphone, if the rumoured plans with Virgin come out on friday as promised.

These are the plans being mooted by the media for release on friday;
For $70 per month for 24 months, all Virgin iPhone 3G customers will get:As we mentioned yesterday, Virgin runs on the Optus network, so you get the same coverage as the current best deal, but with a lot more data.

I was in traffic yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to do any real runs. But my daughter and I did a dozen runs from the living room to the kitchen... definetly worth the $12.
BTW, by quickly moving the phone from my waist to my above my head (in one direction, not shaking), I got 1/4 mile time of 10.62 @160.7 MPH, and 981 WHP!

Those of you who have tested this in your 1ers, where are you placing your iphone or ipod touch? I can't seem to find a good place for it to be flat horizontally or vertically.
