Next Oil change. New item

Next oil change planning installing one of these. will make it easier next time around, and less mess. Add a hose pour into container. The little valve lock in place. I've use this before in my 4x4 truck work great.

I have a funnel in the garage, expressly for my oil changes. That also works great.

I do not think that is a good idea on a car that has service included. Even if you change the oil between BMW recommended service I would not put one on my car. I don’t see the problem turning a wrench every once and a while. In fact it is much harder to get the oil filter off than the drain plug.

Would you leave a hose connected to it permanently or attach/take it off every oil change? It does look cool but popping the drain plug off isnt much work.

Or do the James Bond thing and add a powered valve switch on the dash, and leave an oil slick behind you for tailgaters.

The only advantage of this mod is that you can attach a hose to the outlet and the oil will not splash all over.
