North Texas Drive w/ Lunch (Sat. 9/27)
I am planning on joining in on a twisty roads drive this Saturday. Sorry for the short notice. The organizer is looking at doing one of two possible drives. At this point I am up for either. It looks like there will be a number of S2000's and EVO's on this drive and at least one 135i Vert. Please let me know if you have any interest in joining in. I will let you know which drive we are doing soon. General information follows:
"Clarks BBQ" run Meeting place: 380 and I-75 at Starbucks - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=&dad...48&ie=UTF8&z=16 Meet Date/Time: Saturday, 9/27/08 @ 9:45 am to 10:00 am. We will be leaving at 10:00 am. Drive Route: We will be leaving the metroplex and taking some fun roads north to Tioga, Texas. Maps will be available at our meeting location. Duration: Approximately 1.0 to 1.5 hour drive to Clarks. Lunch Where: Clarks Outpost BBQ. 101 Highway 377 at Gene Autry Drive Tioga, Texas 76271. Website - http://clarksoutpost.com/ Their Phone No.: 940.437.2414 When: 11:30 am to 12:45 pm Food: Nationally recognized as one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA. They are famous for their: o BBQ sauce o Slow cooked beef brisket o BBQ pork ribs o Chicken with rib rub OR Turbine Drive I would like to do the Turbine Drive again for the EVO guys and show them the full route. We went on this drive in the EARLY spring this year and we had 12 people come out and I think most people enjoyed it very much. We are going to go to a different restaurant this time that has much better service and will not be during the dreaded ''church rush'' they have an area that can seat very large groups just like ours and they are ready to handle the load much better than the Center was.... Meet in Denton at Good Eats I-35 and North Loop 288 Time: Meeting 9:45-10:15...Leave at 10:15 Eat here... http://www.rohmersrestaurant.com/

Dang it, I already committed to the BMWCCA Show & Shine and I have to study quite a bit, so I can't do both. Hopefully we can have another later this fall before the weather gets too chilly.

I was at the BMWCCA Show & Shine as mentioned above. Unfortunately there were very few newer BMWs, but the Interlagos Blue Z4 M Coupe with wheels/exhaust, Z8, and Turbo E46 M3 were my favorites. I've got pics up:
