Ok first I love the 135i, don't get me wrong.

There is NO way a tuned 135i is running with the V10 M-cars. Not happening.

It has already been done. Vishnu V3 335i has been run at a GTboard event.

E90post member from sweden ran his 335i against many cars, including the big M-cars.

His car:
335i
+Vishnu V3
+Catted DP
+Vishnu Exhaust
+BMS airfilter

vs M6 Kellner = lost by app 10 carlenghts
vs Alpina B5 = lost by app 4 carlenghts
vs M5 = lost by app 4 carlenghts

Almost forgot.

This is a quote from the man himself, Shiv the maker of Procede.

"It is really hard to beat the big M cars at triple digit speeds. They aren't turbocharged so they don't experience heat soak from sustained boost like us turbo guys do "

135 V's M3 e92

You all have probably seen the vid of the two Jap guy's racing each other.
Here is onother one from the M5 Board my old stomping ground.

Pretty good race. The M3 has the new DCG gearbox and I think it make a difference

Was the M3 stock? Regardless, watching it keep close to the bike shows what an awesome machine the M3 is. Luckily the 135 is substantially cheaper and not really aimed at the M3 enthusiast so getting beaten isn't such a bad thing !

Hi all,

Ok, the facts: (lol)

1) It is hard to admit for us that a (tuned) 135i is always slower then the high rev's BMW V8 or V10 at top-end. I have done some races, and I never had any chance at top end. But(!) a tuned 135i is as fast as, or even a bit faster! then, a E92M3:

- in acceleration: f.i. 80km/h - 160 km/h, or, 100km/h - 180 km/h, etc.
- in acceleration starting from low rev's (135i has the torque and weight advantage).
- if the output performance of the 135i is appr. 400-410Bhp. I drive the AC Schnitzer 355 HP (= 360 Pferden Starcken). Numbers at the crank.

2) The factory suspension of the M3 is better then - I would say far more superior over - the suspension of the M sport 135i. In straingt line and to go as fast as possible, it is not important. But if you are interested to get the maximum drive fun out of your BMW, then continue reading.
This has nothing to do with any 'opinion', but are just the facts. Is it bad? No, ofcourse not. A 135i is a wonderful product but another car, less costs, then a E92M3.
I have now the performance suspension of AC Schnitzer. OMG, that is a difference, a huge difference. Total costs: $ 1.000,-. I would really recommend anybody who is thinking about performance mods, to change the suspension and not the performance of the engine. The performance of my ACS1.35i is great but, to be honest, absolutely 'overdone'. But the suspension, that is great, great fun on tracks. No more understear, no more wobbeling, even more comfort at low speeds. It is a fantastic ride on the track!

Kind regards,
ACS1.35i

LOL at some of the 135 owners here. Get off your high horse, sure the 135 is quick but honestly e9x M3>135i in every single way.

The motorcycle could have been there as a camera vehicle. Which is most likely the reason it wasn't out accelerating the m3.
