Typical install cost question

What would be the going rate to install a set of lowering springs at a reputable shop? Just want to make sure I am getting a fair rate. Thanks!

A good buddy did mine for $400 all in, parts, tax, the whole kaboodle.

Granted, he is a good buddy, and doesn't bleed me dry on mods. But, also I don't let him work for free either. So I'd guess if you can get it somewhere in that neighborhood, you are good.

So if typical springs go for $250-300 then install was $100. Would it be fair to assume that $150-$175 would be a fair price for springs install labor?

You'll also need to plan for a 4 wheel alignment afterwards. The lowering springs change the geometry of the suspension. My local dealer charges $98 for an alignment.
