N52 ECU Successfully Tuned by CS Tuning/LET Motorsports
Finally they came out with a tune for the N52 engine. This tune was originally for a 328i, but since we both have the same exact engine, this tune will work for our cars as well, here is a link to the post over at the e90 forum that will explain a lot more. Apparently the tune only adds 6whp and most noticeably 9ft/lbs of torque and it costs around 440$ I think. The numbers may be small, but I'm reading that it makes a big difference, and that this isn't the final tune, and they are going to try and upgrade it for better performace, here the link for the site.

Harold came down the other day to flash my car. Real nice guy coming down to irvine area to perform the flash. I have no dyno and not planning on doing one anytime soon due to my schedule. However the chip got rid of the hesitation my car seemed to have below 3k rpms. So that means i have more torque. Other than my car seems to rev more freely and the intake is louder when accelerating and is fairly quiet while cruising on the fwy which is nice. Most people may think its a lot of money to fork over for an unknown amount of hp and torque, but I like trying to get the most out of my car for now. For people wondering what other mods I have on my car, I have an injen intake and a magnaflow cat-back. Thanks Harold for coming down.

out of interest, what ballpark figure did you pay for the ECU flash? Also if you need to get it back to stock, is it a big hassle to do this?

450 for the flash since the group buy finished up months ago, and you would have to ask harold about the reflash, but shouldnt be to much of a hassle if you live close to his shop. I still Like what the chip has done. it has increased the mpg on my car to that of my old mini cooper.

"raceman" claims to know of one/had one in east europe somewhere. It's in the "why is auto 0-60 time so much slower than manual for 125/128" thread. If true, we should arrange a convoy and all get it done.
