wow the pics in the sun make the hood look 10x better. I would def. find a way to make those vents functional, that would be sick

+1.. not feeling the vents but at least the fitment is pretty good.. buddy has a 5 series and omg.. the fitment from Seibon is oooogly... haha...

painted version looks a lot nicer than the full on cf one. "aggressive"... i think is the right word for this look of the hood. Looks cool overall.

You mean John's 545i right lol? I think it's like 1cm off from clamping properly on the front

Yeah, they arent the best fit intially but any good body shop should be able to adjust the fenders and hood so that is all lines up.

non working vents would be a no go for me. it reminds me of when people add the vents from the side of the previous M3 to their civic

A friend of mine spotted your car off of Macadam a couple weeks ago, said I needed to get black rims asap because someone in Portland had more mods than me! haha

Like the hood, did you have it installed at Active?

Hahahh...Yep...I work down there.

Yeah, Active painted the hood. They did an amazing job but I'm still thinking I'll sell it for the Vorsteiner hood.

What color is your car?

EDIT: Just saw your sig. Have I seen your car at 24 Hour Fitness in Tualatin?

that's what i'm thinking. the hood now has too much going on. perhaps just one slat on each side will make it better? regardless tho, ur the first to have done things I think. uniqueness gets brownie points for sure

Great hood. Fit and finish are excellent. As long as you enjoy it, then no other opinion matters.

The Seibon hood fits really well if the body shop takes their time. It took a LOT of work in adjusting the fenders, bumper, and hood to all match up!!!

For what it's worth, they did a Vorsteiner hood a month or so after mine and said the quality on the Seibon was much better, in their opinion. It was a little disheartening since I was going to swap for the Vorsteiner.
