Ordering guide
Ok all pricing is out, looks like all prices held steady, some items such as Sat radio reduced in price ($350)
The attached ordering guide shows you all options & colors available and which combos can be had as well. After opening the pdf, select the car you want to view from the menu on the left. There is no pricing on this sheet, but I'm sure some one will upload the wholesale sheets shortly. |

depends on 2009 inventory levels... My gut says they will be competitive & then give us more incentive on the 09's

wow, so canada gets the std bluetooth and ipod and we dont. come on BMW it's 2010 and you sell a car standard with a 300 horsepower, twin turbo, direct injected engine but you can't equip it with bluetooth and ipod attachments as standard? wow. end of rant.

If you remove the sunroof and make it a $1050 option and lower the MSRP by $400, I believe that you have raised the price of the car by $650.

Some answers to radio questions
After looking at the 2010 ordering guide and comparing it to the 2009 version I notice the following:
Both come with "Radio BMW Professional (663)", however the 2010 do NOT come with "HiFi Sound System (676)" but instead have "HD Radio (653)". It appears that 676 is the speaker type and layout, not the radio itself, which jives with what I read in another post (which I can't find now) that said something about loosing speakers (Tweeters?) on the parcel shelf. I looked at the 'Konfigurator' on BMW Deutschland, since it shows the codes next to the options and 676 only talks about the upgraded speakers, while 677 (Premium HiFi) also mentions the amp and surround capabilities. It seems like adding something like 676 aftermarket would be relatively easy, and possibly cheaper/better sound quality (BMW charges 540 Euro on the German site) than what comes standard in '09s. EDIT: 676 shows 110W amp, 677 a 420W. Last edited by Dodo; 07-25-2009 at 12:01 PM.. |
