i found cracks on the trunklid tail lights.
i noticed it one day i was i was getting into my car. Check your cars guys... Am i alone on this? and will they replace it for me if and when i bring it in?
And while were talking about exterior imperfections i would like to add that the front right wheel is impossible to clean. The black dots seem like they are there to stay. The last time i hand washed the car, i wiped off the brake dust but i just gave up on the baked in bits. How are you guys coping with this brake dust crap?!?!? |

Reassurances from another newbie.
Mine's in bits in the trunk. The crunch when I backed over it was sickening. From what I've read on this site, dealers have figured out what the factory couldn't, and they'll put it back right.
My suggestion for the massive amounts of brake dust on the front wheels is to spray the wheels as well as the tires with tire shine. Brake dust sticks to it instead of the paint, and it sudses right off with tire cleaner. |

2 weeks ago I was driving home from Manhattan and the 2 1ers I saw on the drive both had fallen out taillights. Its a know issue, but my SA used to work for Mercedes and he said that Benzes are worse.

Yup I noticed mine was cracked right when I got home from buying it.lol That didnt take long. they said they would take care of it, and the scratch that is on the door that i didnt see when the salesman delivered the car. Try getting that kind of service with an American car company.lol they will tell you to go F yourself in your A with no lube.
