I believe it's because prior to March 2009, the alarm was a dealer-installed option, so all cars came pre-wired for it. After March 2009, it became a factory-installed option, so if you didn't get it from the factory, the wiring isn't pre-installed.

Very nice. Not to be picky but you should add some performance pedals. It's pretty cheap and you would be amazed at how much it helps to set off the interior. Keep up the great work.
