I almost bought that magazine! On page 78 or something, there's another article on the 135. Scans please.

Who is the author? Thumbs down for not letting us read it. And what does it matter if it is posted online? Is not an article concerning a car simply a persons opinion? Unless he really wants money for his opinion and for us to buy the article. Seriously people don't even buy it most of the time. They just read it at the store.

I'm willing to bet they would have sold more issues of the magazine if they left the article up. The dinosaurs of the print world just don't understand the web.

I got my BMW performance suspension for just over a grand (shocks/struts, springs, and sway bar). I doubt it's much more expensive than what you can get aftermarket. I'm guaranteed quality/fitment, same BMW warranty, and I'm pretty sure sticking with bmw performance parts hold the resale value of the car better than aftermarket parts.

If you strongly feel that peoples work should be free for everyone, then I guess you volunteer where you work? You wouldn't then think of actually getting paid for your work and effort, right? Getting paid for your work is so archaic and dinosaurish. Yeah, it's just the opinion of someone. However, I like to read information from those who have direct knowledge by taking the time to put in the work necessary to form a much more educated opinion. Doing that takes time and money. If you think the cost isn't worth it to you, cool. However, the author has a right to his/her work and people shouldn't feel free to post it on the web without the author's permission. If the article stayed up, somehow I get the feeling you wouldn't have bought a copy anyway. I think some dinosaurs know that. |
