Nikku Detailed: Audi B8 S4 White, One step polish
Audi B8 S4 White
This detail came about when a vehicle enthusiast inquired about a new car prep for his new car. He decided to hold off on the detail until it was closer to winter time. He opted for the exquisite package. In regards to the paint condition it wasn’t that bad considering he had just taken the S4 on a very long road trip. The paint showed no signs of protection. There were swirling presumably detail installed on the paint that I had a hard time capturing however it wasn’t hard to remove. The paint also had hard water marks and etching from bird poop. Alright lets move on to the products and pictures. Products Paint Wash Two buckets & Two grit guards Chemical Guys Wash and Gloss Optimum No Rinse Two Sheepskin Wash Mitts 4 Microfiber Waffle weave drying Towels Wheel Wash Chemical Guys Maxi Suds One bucket 7 One grit guard Zymol Wheel Brush EZ Detail Brush EZ Mini Detail Brush Clay Chemical Guys Quick Detailer Riccardo Yellow Clay Polish Sonus White 6 inch Polishing Pad Sonus Blue 6 inch Finishing Pad Menzerna Power Finish Menzerna PO85rd 3M Ultrafina Last Step Paint Protection Collinite 845 Optimum Poliseal Last Step Protection Wheels Optimum Opti-seal Tropi-care Wheel Dressing Trim and Window Rain X Einszett Gummi Fledge Interior Einszett Cockpit Premium Einszett Leatherfledge 303 Aerospace Protectant 303 Aerospace Fabric Guard Befores I personally found the trim to be extremely soft. I started with PF on a blue finishing pad then worked to PO85rd then had to drop it down to ultrafine on the blue finishing pad. Even that was slightly marring the paint. I had to finish up with a hand polish using ultrafina and a foam applicator pad. The pics below are the after products of polishing. I apologize for not posting before as the camera had a very hard time capturing defects on the paint. Please enjoy the afters. AFTERS Wheels squeaky clean and ready for winter storage. Time worked: 7 hours Thanks for looking. |

Hey Blackjack,
Thanks for the comments and thanks for taking the time to look ! It is a beautiful car. I'm not a huge fan of the rear lights but that's just me. Sorry but I don't have pics of the interior. I didn't want to keep the owner waiting while I took interior pics BTW once you pick up the S4 just turn your 135 into a track car |
