windows - water marks and wipers
I cant seem to get the water stain and wiper blade area cleaned off my windshield (and water marks on all the other windows). Anybody have a recommended product or technique to take care of this?

Unfortunately when the glass is consistently dirty the blades will grin in contaminants which can cause some light etchings in the glass. I highly recommend the Glass Science Rain Clear - 5 oz + Bonus. It comes with the Glass Scrub and Rain Clear Gel to help deep clean and protect the glass. Apply a nickel sized drop of the glass scrub to a foam applicator or soft cloth that is wet. Then rinse the glass down and buff the product on in a circular motion with light to medium pressure. It helps remove sap, water marks, stubborn road grime, etc. Then rinse it thoroughly when you are done to see remarkably clear glass. Now protect the glass with the Rain Clear Gel which fills in those micro-pores and repels all moisture. It makes driving in rain, sleet and snow soooooo much easier. It also helps more scratching on the surface.
Lastly I would recommend wiping down your wiper blades every 1 - 2 months so you get solid contact and less streaking. This is also a great way to prevent your blades from adding more fine scratches to the glass. You can use a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol, a light degreaser or the 303 Wiper Treatment. Let me know if you have any questions. Greg @ DI |
