There was a white car here, a while ago, that posted pics here of installing them on their car, close to two yrs ago. I bet if you do some searching, you can find them.

IIRC, general consensus was that they greatly detracted from the looks of the car, but were obviously functional.

Not worthwhile. Cars today come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, heights, etc. That thing would only protect you from 10% of doors I would estimate.
