Does anybody know if these will fade in and fade out during locking/unlocking of the car like what the current halogens do? Or will it be a flicker or quick on/off?

I think that since they are LEDs they will flicker or go quickly on or off. I think its because LEDs are going to be either on or off and when the power to the lights is decreased, which is what is causing halogens to fade, the LED will go either off, or flicker because LEDs dont dim...i may be wrong though.

They do fade in and out, LEDs will inherently not be as smooth as a halogen bulb but they are a pretty clean fade in and fade out.

So there's a warning in the manual about electrocution.... lol i'm considering do this mod but that just sounds scary. what exactly needs to happen.. in order for me to be electrocuted while installing these bulbs (so i can avoid doing it)?

Here is a video of the install:
The hardest part of the install is the plastic cover on the passenger side. There is no chance of electrocution given that the connectors are plug and play, there is no splicing or soldering required. |
