Question Has Anyone Done 3K AE's with 6K Xenons??

I was wondering if anyone has done 3K HID angel eyes with 6K D1S Xenon bulbs? I really like the look of 3K AE's on black but don't really like the idea of driving at night with 3K D1S Xenons. I'm not too sure what it would look like, post pics if you've done this combo!

It does, which is why i just picked up some 6k d1s bulbs but I also think 3k angels look sick as hell on black cars but I don't wanna drive around with yellow xenons also which is why I asked if anyone's ever done the 3k 6k combo

Might be worth just trying out. Most of the cost of the good HID kits are the ballasts. Should be able to replace the bulbs for pretty cheap if you don't like it.

I think Alex@Alpine was selling them for $25 during the group buy. Probably somewhere around there.

6 would not be white it would be blue. 4300k is pure white and anything lower than that turns yellow. so if you did 6k xenons they would be blue with a 3k AE being yellow...
