Dying headliner?
Anyone dye their grey headliner black yet? if so, how do you reccomend i go about it? thanks

I work for an upholstery shop and I can say for sure that there is no easy or reasonable way to dye a headliner. For starters you would have to take it out of the car, and if you have gone that far you might as well just recover it in a black material of your choice. But fore most, so that you don't get dye everywhere you would spend more time masking off the interior then you would by taking the headliner out. And because there would be no way to get an even coat in such a confined space. Plus you would have to take out all the plastic pieces that are in the headliner (ie. dome light, coat hooks, visor bases, ect.) to paint those black anyway. So my advice to you is not to dye it.
