**********s LED Angel Eyes....adaptive headlight error code?
So I recently picked up and got around to install these B.L.U. Super Hyper White LED angel eye bulbs from **********s today....first of all, they look amazing and will post some pics up soon. However, now after driving around for like 10 minutes I am getting an adaptive headlight error code??
They specifically state that it will not throw any codes...but i guess if there is some way to clear the code permanently then i guess its not really an issue. Can I just go to autozone or something and have them clear the code, will it be gone permanently? Thoughts? Would it be bad to go into the dealer to see what they think? As far as I know, changing the bulb doesnt void the warranty right? Link to bulbs: http://www.**********s.com/_e/Lighti...e_LED_Bulb.htm |

The code will clear automatically when you have a properly functioning set of rings. It sounds like the LEDs are causing the errors, if you turn them back to stock or get a set of aftermarket rings that are error free then that error will go away automatically.

If you got an adaptive headlight error you just need to move the round ballast somewhere else inside the headlight assembly. It is interfering with the way the headlights are moving inside. This has been seen before with the other LEDs out there.
So just open the headlights up, move the ballast around and close it back up and repeat if necessary. |

I've got the same problem, only no code. With your car, when you turned the wheel left or right, would the lights turn? Mine don't.
