My new DD

So my 2008 CTS lease ended in March and I've been down to just the 1er for the past few months. I just put a deposit down on a 2010 Mercedes C300 Sport in Black over Almond/Mocha interior. Loaded up with the Multi Media package (nav, HDD, etc), 18in AMG wheels, rear camera, etc.

The lease deals on them right now were just too good to turn down. I should take delivery sometime next week, I'll post up some pics. Can you believe I'm falling for a black car AGAIN????? lol.

I actually was considering merc before my 1er... and everything is simply beautiful about the car, however the engine was a sad case. it wasn't lively at all. Should be okay for DD. Gratz..

New C looks great in sport trim. Congrats!! Looking forward to pics.

I saw a dark blue one this AM while walking across Boston to work, and needed to catch an extra glance it it. Sharp looking car.

I'd rather have the C350 with the bigger engine, but it doesn't come with 4matic in the 2010 MY. On the couple of test drives I took, the 228hp engine felt powerful enough to enjoy on a daily basis, but certainly not anything near the 1er. I think it does feel a bit torquier than the 328xi, although the Bimmer is smoother.

Thanks, I too really like the way it looks and am already planning some mild mods like smoked front fender lights and a painted grille. It drives nicely, a nice comfortable daily driver with decent pep. The Multi Media package is very nice, nicer than the Nav package in my 09 1er. I still love my 1 though and will fully enjoy top down driving this summer!

Thanks Larry, I agree it looks better in Sport trim. For a moment I considered the Luxury model with the more traditional grille, stand up Mercedes emblem on the hood and a softer ride- but my wife said NO WAY you're not that old yet!!

Here's a pic of what it looks like, wheels and all:
