I think its more than sanding/prime... the bumper where it meets the diffuser seems also out of shape. Anyways, I pmed you!

The DYI bumper install shows a 128 owner throwing a 135 bumper on.

Nope, I have the professional estimate stating its repairable. I could scan it if you'd like. It's not out of shape where the two meet. Perhaps I could get a shot down the side of the bumper.

In response to your PM...how do you ship Gray Hound? Can I quote online?

I wonder how shipping is these days, 2 years ago I tried to buy a bumper from somebody in Chicago. Although they gave me a great deal on the plastic bumper, shipping was about $200, because of the size.

Greyhound was the cheapest, but there's no door-to-door delivery. Yellow line frieght was 2nd cheapest, but still $$. Fedex, USPS, and UPS were outrageous.

UPS? freight for a new one (from the dealer) was $150. Doesn't matter who you buy it from...shipping sucks. I wonder what USPS would charge. They're actually not too bad.

it cost approximately $60 to ship a bumper from LA to St. Louis using greyhound, just to give you some price comparison.

Greyhound, just bubble or plastic wrap the thing and drop it off. I just shipped to St Louis from Los Angeles (like the previous post says). They insure up to $300 too for no extra charge. All the other shipping services wanted $250-300+ w/o insurance and it had to be boxed.

Shipping WORST case across the entire country is $76.50.

I got an offer, but want keep my feelers out there before pulling the trigger. The price is udpated and lowered in the first post as well.

$160 firm for the bumper
$30 for the diffuser. Its ready to bolt right on.
