I want better pics. Loving the side vents.
These pics may have just changed my mind about getting my deposit back! All i need to hear on the 12th is that it will be around the £40k mark and im in.. Mark are you in still? |

I can't tell for sure. Do the side gills have an opening/ air extractor?

I hope that thing is functional because it doest look too good. Its weird that they gave it a more vertical vent (not M-like) and then slapped a chrome indicator thing (straight from M3) on the side.

No, there isn't an actual vent or opening. It is just a crease in the sheet metal of the fender.

Do we still care anymore? I mean, does BMW think we're still in awe about "the thought" of a 1M. I like it, it's cool, but come on, this isn't the new F3x M3 now

Hmm I thought the 1M only had eyebrows, but it seems like the headlights have been outlined with some type of matte black 3M-like vinyl.
Is that the way the headlights would come out out of the factory? If so, it does not look too good for my taste. |

Here's what I meant:
Eyebrow on top of headlights: <--- Not bad. Actually looks good. Vinyl outline on city lights and around whole headlight: <--- Makes the whole headlight look cheap. Eyebrow was good enough IMHO. |

IMO If the 1M's headlights came that way with the vinyl stuff attached, it just made the headlights look cheap. |
