Tires on the M Coupe?

Does anyone know what actual tires will be used on the 1 series M? I realize the suspension setup will be different to the 135, but I'm thinking of ditching my run flats, and it'd be interesting to see what BMW does on the M.

In the spirit of cutting costs, they'll probably be the same as the M3 with the Comp package.

Had the PS2's on my Cayman. LOVED those tires - so sticky icky.

Pricey though. I got about 10k out of a set of rears.

yup, I hope that as well. What worries me though is that in the list with available sizes the size of the backwheel tire of the 1M (and M3) is not in...

it certainly looks to be the PS2.

Hopefully the PSS fitment will be available ones the PS2 has ran out of thread.

The PSS is the successor of the PS2. Confusingly, the PS3 is more of a luxury sedan tire and not a step forward from the PS2.

I'd guess the car launches with PS2s and gets the PSS mid cycle.
