Choosing a VMR wheel the spring: 701, 710, or VB3? Vote!
Hey guys, so I'm not going to actually purchase these for another month or two (unless I come across a crazy deal), but I'm looking for 18" wheels to replace my stock 264s next spring. Hoping to pair them up with decent 225/255 tires and scrap my runflats, which are sitting in my garage for the winter..
Can't make up my mind on which of the three VMRs is my favorite, my mind changes everyday .. so I thought I'd ask for your opinion. Thinking of gunmetal for the finish so I tried to match the pics below as best as I could. My car is an AW 135i with sports package (stock setup w/ perf exhaust). Also, if anyone has another suggestion I need to cap it at around $900 or so for the set. I wish I could get those sexy Advan RZs but just don't have the money right now... ![]() Here are some pictures of the contenders (borrowed from other posts ):VMR 701 (couldn't find it on an AW or in gunmetal... not too sure how the combo would look) ![]() VMR 710 ![]() ![]() ![]() VMR VB3 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Love the 710s in the second set of pics. Remember seeing those pics a while back and believe the finish is Diamond Graphite, which isn't a standard finish and will bump you over the $900. They look great though.

![]() The V710's in GM adove should be be able to give you a pretty clear picture though IMO. HS or GM on AW always goes extremely well with each other. -Charles@VMRWheels

I've got V710 in diamond graphite and they look sick. I get compliments on them daily. I dig that the V710 also has 1-specific offsets. They look just right on the car. No excessive poke, no need to run super skinny tires, no need to roll fenders.
Pardon the wheel gap, this was taken pre-drop with an iphone. ![]() ![]()

some pics of my car w/ the V710s for your perusal.
(I know i know, it would look sick w/ a drop )I Like all 3 of your choices, but here's my take on each one: VB3's look too stock for my taste. V701's - Awesome. As long as they have the correct offset for the car. V710's- love them. Almost look stock, but have a nice aftermarket flair.
