interested in euro headlights.. but

I figure, to upgrade the halos is $150-$200 and then there is no way I am going to bake my lights to get the hideous amber corner out.

I am new to BMW (just bought a 2009 135i on 3/23/11 http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=510347) and don't know if theses headlights will work because I have adaptive headlights.

Does anyone know if this is ok to use with adaptive headlights? if not, what are my options?


Edit: So I came across this (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...t+bumper+cover) and he spent >$2k on lights, these ebay one must be nock-offs or something?

dont buy that, I would keep the OEM over any aftermarket headlight.
your adaptive wont work, not only as that, the headlight looks terrible.

I actually like amber on AW, clear corner on AW looks dull imo.

If you want European headlights, contact member Jori here and he might be able to hook you up for a reasonable cost. Of course, the adaptive lights are quite expensive.

I agree, those ambers add a little contrast to the car. Taking them away makes the front look washed out on an AW 1er and ends up just looking odd. IN MY OPINION, it is the same as putting blacked out grills on a black car, not enough contrast to the car. Some like it, I personally don't and won't do it to mine.

Of course, a person can go too far and put TOO much contrast as well with painting some odd ball color on everything.

However, I wouldn't trust an eBay knock off, especially when you have adaptive lights and all. Talk to some of the people on the forum that are in Europe and have them pick you up a set of OEM Euro lights if you still want the ambers gone.

dont get those depos blehkkk OEM still looks better even with the amber corners haha but to each there own....I just think it makes the car look cheap almost honda civic like, rather than making it look better just my .02 every has there own views i suppose

To each his or her own...I actually think the Euro headlights look best on AW because the corners aren't clear, but rather they're white.

Or, if you're a Gator fan, do what I did and get a blue car...the amber (orange) and blue create the theme. I love this about my car!

These Headlights are not even Xenon, these are just halogen HL´s! Dont do that.....
