Amber gones

Hey guys, I am getting a new 2012 135i Jet Black on Saturday and I want to get amber gones for it soooo bad. After going on the site which color would look the classiest and most bmw. Black, Etched glass, silver, Chrome? Help a nub out!

Probably get flamed for this...and yes it is each owners perogitive...but stand back and look at it in different light. The amber actually looks kind a nice, and makes a great contrast agaist the black front corners. The clear actually while euro, makes it look rather plane jane IMO..but thats me. It's also there for an extra bit of safety as seen from the side...but good luck on your view of it.

I don't mind the amber and am not a big fan of the current amber gones. The only solution I like is the Euro Headlight Swap but of course thats gnarly expensive..

I hate the amber.

Black will make the headlights a weird shape/proportion i think, since the car is black. You need something that makes it clear that the headlight is there, even from far away, but that gets rid of the amber.

i don't like chrome anywhere on any car. but that's personal preference. still, even if i liked chrome, i don't think that would be the right place for it.

either etched glass or silver would look okay.

etched glass will look similar but not as shiny. it's really up to you. out of the options you listed i'd personally get etched glass.

something else to consider would be gunsmoke. a little of the orange might still get through, but from far away it won't look as awkward as the pure black would look in my opinion, but won't be as obviously sticker-like as silver or etched glass. or you could just get a tint shop to tint them dark enough to get the orange out for you

Agree. Total Euro swap, or nothing is my current stance.
