Hmm 500 for a bike rack seems a bit to high lol. Would the one on top of the car fit the 128i?

What's your reason for not putting it in the trunk with the rear seats down? I'm a fellow roadie and do this to travel with my bike.

It's not really that hard I do all the time, pop off the front wheel and put it in rear tire first, if you're not careful you might scrape the side of the back seat with the back tire but it easily wipes off. I for one think it's awesome I can fit my bike in my 1 so easily.

trailer hitch and thule rack.... I had a roof rack on my 04 subie, it was great except when you needed to get into garages and such... i am totally sold on trailer hitch mounted carriers.. I dont scrape my car, can take it off easily and can go into parking garages and such...

Dont get me wrong, its good that you still CAN put a hitch on a car like this, just never something i would do with a sports car. Hitches are for trucks and SUV's imho.

Yeah I wouldn't put a hitch on my 1. I just want something simple for just one bike. Nothing to fancy lol or that cost $500. |
