Crack in iCarbon Trunk
I was washing my car the other day, and noticed a crack on the edge of the CSL style spoiler part of my iCarbon trunk. It is about 1-inch long and runs along the edge. Should I fill the crack with something like resin or superglue?

Man that sucks...
Send them an email/call and get their advice on how to repair it. You want to get it done soon.so it doesn't spread.

Shit man, I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm honestly not sure how to repair it, but I've heard that it's similar to repairing cracks in fiberglass though it doesn't come out looking as nice..
If you're depending on iCarbon to save the say, you're probably SOL

Yeah, I called them and of course it went to voicemail. I also sent them an email and also PM'd them on here. So, we will see if I even get a response. I'm probably just going to repair it, because I doubt they would replace it since I bought it from someone else.

Yeah, I just noticed it. I've had the trunk on for probably a total of 3-4 weeks now. It hasn't been in any hail, but it has been extremely hot. Ex and I are on good terms, lol. It definitely was not caused by a person or another car.
I think maybe it was just closed too hard or something, I dunno, who knows. CF parts are so damn brittle, that anything could have happened. As you can see though, it isn't that big. Almost looks like just the clear coat cracked. So, I'm wondering if I can just patch it with some clear epoxy resin.

I would have a professional shop do it to be safe.
