Why do people KEEP saying they'd rather slap on every available performance part on their 135i. I get that makes you feel better about yourself, but come on!
What is it about the monumental difference that a wider track, lsd, vastly superior suspension components and vastly superior brakes has on a car that people don't understand?! You'd have to dish out HUGE amounts of cash to get the handling of the 135i anywhere close to the 1M! |

Just thought of this...what M version has ever had better gas mileage than a non-M? Blasphemy! I thought M owners universally hated the ozone layer!

M Dynamic Mode is adaptive.
But if it is a n54 long block, with a twin scroll off of a n55, then that explains that is a special M engine [S55?] application they were referring to, and at the very least the turboS are configured differently, IF there are two of them. Where is Scott? |

As long suspected, it's a 135is with some M bits. Better than the 135i, but less than it could have/should have been. At least the estimated price is within reason, but let's see if that actually becomes $50k. Too bad about the colors and the DCT. That rear is definitely an afterthought, not an intent.

From the data I saw the 1M does not get better mileage. It looked about 10% less than a 135. 13.6l/100km on the 1M, 12.1l/100km on the 135, the 1M uses 1.4l more in 100km.
