Some major progress over the last couple weeks here! My hood from Revozport arrived And so did my 1M side mirrors, the caps are out getting painted now so I'll post more once they're totally finished. I'll be painting the hood with the rest of the 1M conversion too; front fenders, front bumper, and all the necessaries should be arriving next!

I wish I had the time for something like this. I miss turning wrenches. hell, I wish I had your garage for that matter. Keep up the good work! Excited to see the end result.

Yes it did, one of the main reasons I decided to spend the extra dough on a Revozport! I won't install the pins until the full bodywork is done though. Want the body shop to line up everything perfectly.

Nice conversion, everything is looking great already. Please keep us posted with all the update, can't wait to see the finished look!
BTW that Mini looks sick, but IMO it would look even better with orange mirror caps!! Thanks for sharing.

Is it the single or the doble sided carbon hood? Any idea of the weight and of the gain?

It's the single sided carbon... I was going to paint the top side so the money savings made sense... Not sure of the exact weight savings but from removing the old and installing the new I can safely say it only weighs about a 1/3rd of the OEM hood.

The loss of weight is impressive regarding to the weight of the OEM hood (like 20kg).

So I got my big shipment from ECS Tuning on Friday afternoon and spent the entire weekend working on the build. Here's some pics, enjoy!
Delivery! Took about 2 hours to break down all the boxes and packing material... Front Bumper & 1st fender off... Inner Fender Linings out... Needed to pick up 2 empty gallon washer bottles from the shop to drain the old tank too... New fender test fitted! All put together! I didn't spend too much time lining everything up perfect since it will be in the body shop soon, but all and all everything lined up good. My only problem from the whole build was that the left front air scoop behind the bumper would not bolt up to anything, I'm guessing that I need the PPK2 with the oil cooler on that side as well, I had to get creative and up some wire ties until I get the parts I need.

Couple outside shots... Sorry for the low quality pics, didn't take the good camera out for the build.

Looking good, really want to see the seats in and how it fit or how wide it is. Do you mind measure the distance of the two mounting point of the seat for me when you get the seats? I want to know if I can reuse my recaro side mount or I need to buy new side mount.

BIG UPDATE!!!
Seats are coming in this week! Here's my progress thus far on the seat removal... I'm using Planted Seat Brackets & OMP Sliders to go with my STATUS Ring FIA seats & side mounts. *Installation Note; I had to get a normal hex head bolt to replace the torx head bolt with the Planted seat brackets. PM me if you need help on this!* Next I started my 1st orange detail on the car by painting the AFe air scoops. My brake calipers and roll cage will match this... And speaking of roll cages!... I'm proud to announce that VAC Motorsports will be finishing my 1M conversion & installing a custom roll cage. I'll be driving out there next week to drop her off!
