I will probably go 265s as they seem to fit with no issue. You like the Direzza's? Any idea how they compare to a nitto nt05? |

I love the direzza's, much better than the nt05 which were my previous tires. Nt05s seemed a bit too hard for proper traction. And thats what i'm going for

Does anyone have info on how much better / worse it is with an LSD in heavy snow ?
I'm thinking traction should be better, but in the same time with both wheels spinning you probably get sideways much more easily. Not that I don't like getting sideways, but sometimes you're at a red light on a slight uphill on snow and when getting on the gas it's better to stay straight |

Which LSD did you go with? I just got a 2010 135i 6MT and want this to be my first upgrade. How BMW didn't include it as an option is crazy. At least with the M235i it is a dealer installed option it sounds.

I wonder if the "up coming" BMW Performance LSD for the new 2er and 4er will fit our cars? If it does... this will be a very popular mod. I guess we should know in a few more months when some brave 1er soul tries to fit it.

I've ordered a 3.08 LSD for my four month old 135i from Performance Gearing. Jim Blanton has been doing this for the BMW community for decades and knows his stuff. I thought about waiting for the M235i LSD option if it's available, but didn't want to wait and chose the sure thing from Performance Gearing rather than the someday maybe thing from the M235i. I also remember when Porsche offered an optional LSD on the '09+ Caymans and they were criticized for only having 25% lock up and not standing up to track use IIRC, while I'm pretty confident PG's LSD will probably get the job done for the life of the car. I'll report back around here somewhere.
