If you already have the valve cover cracked, it's not too much effort to install these things. I would definitely *not* do a valve cover job just to put them in though. It makes a noticeable difference driving, but not so much that it's worth the hassle, imho. |

Just cruise at 70 mph in 6th, then drop down to 5th. That will be a good approximation of your new top end. The gearing is about 15% apart, same as 3.73 from 3.23. Personally, I hardly ever used 6th before, so the jump to a 3.73 rear end was all win.
