All really nice Nick. Manhart had there 1M at the ring Sunday. Got a few pix and will get them up soon. Busy last two days and put them all to facebook, which took forever with the slow internet here. They also had their G-Power M3. Myslef, Hans took a ride in it around the surrounding area. 2 words....holy crap!!!!! Herr Spohr let loose a few times and it sucked the wind out of your lungs!

I was thinking that is such a good (edit for autocorrect mess) post that would be even better with video. I especially want to hear how that tuned engine sounds through the Akrapovic set up. Must b awesome.

Well either the car is rubbish or the driver.
Stock Car: 1.14,113min TechTec: 1:12.931min 0,5sek you get by using sticky Sport Tires. I do not think the car was running on 443hp. Because in the "Starterliste" it says 340PS And by the way a TTRS did a 1:10.626min |

Edit: it says on the driver's website that the engine was tuned but not to what level, also that it had bespoke KW suspension and Akrapovic exhaust This is the guy that drove the 1M http://www.daniel-zils.de/ Another pic Last edited by conneem-TT; 06-14-2011 at 10:09 AM.. |

I have to slightly disagree on that one. The guy that won the class where all the mini's were in is a Mini Challenge Pro driver and I know that some of the other drivers (not all) are also "contracted" to drive some cars. I think the car is fairly new and they are working to find its limits. If it comes back next year I think it'll do better once its fully dialed in.

[QUOTE=Dackelone;9808016]Yes... but I was referring to my old post here...
BMW 1 Series M Coupe 340hp Confirmed! US version (or F30/F32 M3) gets 451hp. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=457707&highlight=pyrat+332 Dack was on the money! Most interesting to me: "Looks like BMW is thinking about a special US only model with 332 Kw or 451 HP!" I wonder why this wont happen? I mean, the market is here. Is there anything in the roll-out of the 1SMC that would lead one to beleive they couldnt sell it? |

I recommend the GTI from your list.
We currently own a fully loaded mark v GTi and it is fantastic. In Ottawa our weather is very similar to what you describe and the GTi with snow tires and summer tires is an excellent year around car. I also owned an Audi A4 in the past and without Quattro you really aren't gaining enough over the GTi in any area. At the same price I'd choose the GTI. At two thirds the price it is a no brainer. The Passat CC is a classy vehicle but will feel very heavy on its feet. Heavy but gorgers.
