It won't accentuate the height. People will be too busy looking at those light pipes. If anything, it breaks up the vertical height of the tail light, which makes it sleeker horizontally - exactly the sort of thing you want on this coupe's shape.

i wish that one of the testers actually tracked their cars so they could talk about the car from that perspective. i also wish one of the testers had a n54 motor that had a tune, front mount, downpipes, and intake. that way we could see how great this motor happened to be.
after reading most of the threads, I think id prefer a 135i, save the money and get AST's, a LSD, and a tune/intake/downpipes,front mount. and this is coming from someone who has a deposit on the 1M

Excited from the initial reviews but for most of us owning the 1M will be more than a weekend. I'd have to wait a year to figure out if that famous n54 problem doesn't rear its ugly head again.

@Those that could see and drive it: What are they sticking in the final car then? Manual seats? Anything special on the interior (besides the stitching)? What did they say about the 19" wheels? Will they be the cars serial wheels? Did they mention something like a competition package? What about the 250km/h restriction?
Thanks! Peter

Thanks. Had not noticed this thread or seen any of the videos, pictures, or reviews included. Much warranted bump.

I just wanted to bump this thread bc many people don't know some of the interesting things BMW AG did before the launch of the 1M.
