Can you go into some more detail of how you did this? I didn't even realize this was something you could DIY

Edit: Nevermind, found this DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=645616

Was it worth the effort OP?

yeah theres a bunch of DIY out there for the valve cleaning thats why i didnt want to do a whole write up lol. Pretty much you could buy all the items you need to do the job at half of the cost that a dealership would charge. And Yes its worth the effort if you like the way your car drives now you enjoy it even more after you blast those valves.

I got parts on order from germany. 1M parts are cheap but you have to wait 2-3 weeks if anything is back ordered. Revozport is molding me a new lip too. Geico insurance has been surprisingly easy to work with and little did I know, cover up to $1k in aftermarket parts per claim. Pretty cool.

Did you get your endlinks sorted? I have the adjustable ones from HPA.

Thats cool that Geico is willing to cover aftermarket parts, i had the same thing happen to me in my other car. Hit a share tire on the freeway and USAA covered everything including all the custom aftermarket parts i had. pretty cool. But i did pick up some adjustable endlinks from Tuner MS. just installed them this past weekend so the car is up and running again
