+1. As my wife always sees me all beat up after working on the car. She always asks "Why don't you let a shop do the work?"
My reply......."What fun is that where you have to pay someone to do the work you can do?"

I finally got around to upgrading the JB4 to the ISO standard. While I had the car apart I decided to use some of my leftover head shielding wrap on the bottom of the airbox (which is now just a heat shield for the BMS intake anyway). I had used the gold foil on the TMIC of my WRX, but that's another story. My girlfriend really helped a lot, I can't imagine trying to cut and stick the wrap on the box without 2 extra hands. So I proceeded to extract the JB4 and cut the diode and re-install everything. I'm getting a little too good and opening up the DME box... After reattaching the battery and firing up the laptop I started to firmware update. About half way though I realized that the headlights and heater were running. Just to be safe I cut off the lights and turned off the heater blower. As soon as I touched the blower controls my laptop BLUE SCREENED! I restarted the laptop, restarted the firmware update, and after a looooooooonnnnngggg wait the software confirmed that the update was complete. I cautiously restarted the car, everything seemed to be in working order. After double checking the JB settings I decided to take a quick drive to be sure everything was good to go.
WOW, now I see what everyone was on about! The car is amazing now, it runs so good I just can't stand it. The turbo hesitation is completely gone, the cold idle is much improved, and the power delivery is butter smooth. tl;dr - If you have an N55 and a JB4, do the ISO mod ASAP.

Now go put a couple gallons of e85 in it....
I just put some in today myself. Got a couple pulls in last night with Kleach18, the only thing he has that I didnt is e85 in his car. Definitely was a difference maker and he kept me at his back bumper pretty much every run.

No flex-fuel wires, so no E85 for Nina. Maybe next winter when I'm bored.
Must. Get. Summer. Tires.

Sorry, clarification: I need the weather to warm up so I can put my summer tires on the car. I actually have 2 sets of summer tires, 1 stock RFTs and 1 VMR with V12s.

Swapping interior trim. I had 4 of 5 finished in 30 minutes. That 5 of 5 piece? I'm going to have to remove the entire center console.
Pix as soon as I finish...

No, meant that having those options makes removing the center console just that much more fun. I still can't get the 2 plastic pins (1 on each side in the foot wells) to go in but it's getting dark. Otherwise everything is buttoned up. Pictures of the new trim tomorrow in the daylight.
EDIT: I added a photo after I installed those last pins and wiped down the interior. It proved very difficult to get a good shot of the trim, I promise I'll do better soon. Rick saw it today, he can verify that it actually looks good in person. Custom made silver carbon fiber trim by OCarbon
