At least you dont have to deal with the adaptive Xenon ones. They are so finicky and I hope I don’t have to deal with issues any time soon. 🙄[/QUOTE]

I've got the Xenons on my E91. While my 64-year-old eyes appreciate the better light output, the "cornering" lights have never worked correctly since I've had the car (2018). The right one never worked for me and the left one has since also failed. The Carfax on the car shows multiple dealer visits since new under both previous owners for "electrical issues" (which, I am guessing, were the cornering lights). I am hoping the bulbs provided by Daniel Stern will improve the light output.

If you're bored, and don't mind spending a few bucks, you could attempt to repair the old ones you took off. Put on some touch up paint, sand them down and polish them, etc. Kind of like "practice" in case you ever consider DIY on something like this in the future. Maybe a bumper repair for example.

I typically don't like car payments but couldn't pass the deal up on this.

24 Infiniti Q50 Redsport, fully loaded aside from AWD. Picked it up for 37k out the door. 7k miles. It's currently hiding at my friends shop for him to work his magic on it and then PPF it.

The 128i will find another home shortly. Including the Q50 I now own 4 cars, 2 bikes, and a small foldable trailer. Something's gotta go. So its the odd ball BMW.

Daniel Stern Lighting sells an H7 65 watt bulb that is reported to put out more/better light than most other H7s that are the standard 55 watts. Mine are on the way so I will find out for myself soon.

Those are the ones. I had the original Osram Rallye 65W bulbs since 2014 and replaced them, not that they had burned out, with Daniel Stern's version in 2023. Daniel Stern has them custom made as replacements for the NLA Rallye bulbs.

"Exact replacement for the Osram 64217, which was discontinued several years ago. After a great deal of work, I have secured new availability of first-quality, German-made 65w - 2100 lumen H7 bulbs."

They are noticeably brighter. Make sure your headlights are well aimed.

Finalizing part 2 of 4 for some general mods and maintenance.

O2 sensors were replaced and man the car is so much smoother. No hesitation on throttle and cleaner acceleration, gf even noticed and glad to see the cel go away

Secondly, suspension! Went with b4’s and kept the m sport springs but added 12mm front and 15mm rear spacers. The struts and shocks were TOAST, and super glad to be getting the car back to where it needs to be. I think the 12mm front spacers are a touch too much poke for me so I will probably order some 10’s to swap and put the existing on my e38.

Last thing on the docket were floating center caps! 3 of the 4 of my cars have them and they’re just a small little touch that I always enjoy

Up next is euro box and silicone air intake for the front noise and m perf exhaust for the rear noise

Quick edit: added pics of the suspension settling after a quick drives

Did you have to buy new lug bolts for the spacers? Do you know where can you source a 128i performance exhaust?

I ordered from burger motorsports, they sell them with the spacers.

As for the exhaust, it’s all second hand at this point. I called multiple dealers across the nation and there’s no inventory. Mine specifically is from a 135, which seems to be easier to find. The only major difference is the exhaust diameter which you can reduce down or weld depending on what route you want to go

VERY CRITICAL for thinner wheel spacers.

Always nice finding new stuff to code that are useful.

Coded “FH TUERAUF STOP MAUT” to not active.
This way when you one-touch close the windows and open the door, they no longer stop (and disable one-touch operation) but continue going up.

Neat!

Anyone know what these are? I have two pairs and I think they go somewhere on the underside of the hood or in the engine bay but I'm struggling to find any info on them.

I think one of them is from your brake duct.

Nice! Good to see these will make it that far. I'm not even at 100.000 kilometer.
