UHMW is Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Not your mother's bread bag. Tough stuff that we looked at for power tool parts years ago. Don't know anything about use in bushings.
Delrin is a nylon product. So both are plastic. Just different. Last edited by blue135; 02-07-2023 at 05:01 PM.. Reason: Bushings not bearings |

Adaptive Headlight Error from my factory original AHL Xenons. I believe a few different things can trigger it, but in my case, motor that moves the xenon projector is actually damaged. It's kind of stuck in an up-and-in position. I also have the lovely biodegradable wire shields, so the whole headlight is a mess.

So I snagged a N54 and TB on ebay for less than 80 bucks.
Going to go down this path I think. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1902505 I seem to remember that you lose the cruise control doing this? That might be a deal breaker for me..... any wisdom here?

I recall a cubby option but figured I'd never use it. I had forgotten all about it. I've wanted to get rid of the orange reflectors for forever but it was always cost prohibitive. I won't ask what you paid but will ask if prices have come down at all. I forget how much they were but - it was a lot. |

I’m really REALLY hoping the modules themselves aren’t toast, as that’ll add to the cost, but I got them through AutoWin. I will say that it helps that the USD is stronger against the Euro, so they’re definitely not as expensive as they could have been, and I saved some money by getting them without any bulbs or ballasts. |

I have that trim piece sitting in a box in the garage, but the <assumed PITA to install> vs. benefit calculation hasn't tipped to installing it yet Would love to hear your experience when you've done yours.

Didn't know there was a little cubby hole in the euro models.
Does anyone know if there is a poly bushing for the rear shock lower mount? I see the IRP ones on ecs at least.

AKG has them, that’s what I’m using along with their upper mount.

Ah yes, the "oddments" tray. I kind of want to do this for the fun of it, but the panel cost makes it a bit of a lower priority. |
