Should probably do it on a weekend afternoon, have lunch and go for a nice drive, something simple like that.

Yeah that's about right, make it in August, my 135 is out of action for 2 weeks. Had a nail into my tire and totally flat, but that stupid Road Hazard package for run flats doesn't kick in for 30 days from when my documentation/car purchase date was filed. So I can't get a free replacement for another 2 weeks and a run flat costs like $900 after taxes and installation etc.

Talk about crappy.

I hear ya man. Same thing happened to me, 2 weeks in for me with a screw smack dab in the middle. I actually had the option for a free road hazard warranty through the BMW Drive event, though I didn't know about it - so I wasn't covered. BTW, if you are not covered and need a replacement, I'd recommend tirerack.com. I got my Potenza replacement for about $250-$300 cheaper than the dealer was quoting after all was said and done.

On another note, I'd be in for a 135 prowl with my Crimson... pretty much any weekends / evenings on weekdays work for me.

Ok my suggestion is AUGUST 17TH... what are some good locations what about the grouse mountain lookout that would make for some HOT pictures

Just picked up my new SGM 135i this week. It is amazing. It has been a long time since I've wanted to drive in Vancouver traffic. Meeting other 1-series owners would be great. Count me in!!

Do you mean the Cypress or Seymour lookout? I didn't know we could drive up Grouse other than on a fire road.

Turns out I'll be out of town

Still, I would recommend Cypress lookout, much better than Seymour. And the big long runs up the mountain are fun too ... you can try and take on all the Bikers !!

I would love to be there but I'm out of town. If you do go up to Cypress just keep an eye out because cops tend to sit at one of the parking lots going up looking for speeders.
