Looks great. My 1er is Space Gray so wheel color choices are a "thing". Black on grey...

Wheels and tires

I really like the black rims/tires that you're using on your 128i.
May I ask the size wheel and tire?
Black rims source?

I'm guessing they are the style 264s.

Thanks, wheels are 18", tires are 215/40 fronts and 245/35 rears. Wheels/rims came from previous owner, but they are the 264 style powder coated in a really dark gray/black.

Time to gear up for some maintenance soon.

I have a squeaky belt yet again. No visible oil from what I can see and noise increases as rpm rise.

I only have squeak when cold right now, I'm thinking it's time for another tensioner.

Five years after doing so on my 2011 135i, I replaced the halogen H8 angel eye bulbs on my 2012 135i with a set of self-contained LEDs. The updated LEDs are much better than the set I used in 2015. There's no excess wiring to worry about tucking behind the rear headlight covers and they seem brighter as well. They also cost about half the money.

I'm also bringing the car in for it's annual oil service this week. Brake fluid also on the agenda.

Swapped my incandescent H8 'halo' bulbs for another pair of incandescent H8 'halo' bulbs...PIAA # 22-13408, solar yellow fog light bulbs. Figured if they're gonna be yellow, they might as well be reeealy yellow!

Ordered my exhaust... Magnaflow # 16525.

I ordered these on Amazon. They seem well made and brighter than the set I originally purchased in 2015. The all-in-one design as opposed to the wiring with the resister box is also nice. Installation was much easier than I recall it was years ago with the older design. The 6000K color is also nice.

However, before I call it good, I also ordered a set of Philips Diamond Vision 12360DVS2 H8 halogen bulbs on eBay. They're supposed to deliver some of the whitest light from a halogen bulb and are described as 5000K. They aren't sold in the U.S., but you can still find them. I want to try a white halogen bulb because I've never been happy with the light dispersion from the LEDs, and the outer headlight ring being dimmer. We'll see how they work. I'll update once I try them.

Today I learned.....

That when the rear ABS sensors decide to fail it's waywayway more exciting then when the fronts fail. All the cluster lights, and when the left sensor went it took the speedo with it, and the odometer, which freaked out the CAS... Seems the car uses the left rear sensor for speed inputs, and when it was failing I was watching the speedo bounce around even while stopped, before it settled on 0 and stayed there.

Pair of new Bosch sensors will be here Monday

I think he's going to wrap with his own custom leather finish instead, not really ruined, ruined, just for a bit.
