What I did today (yesterday)

In just over 3.5 hours I successfully installed my VRSF 5" intercooler w/ upgraded lower charge pipe and VRSF catless DP's!

Next up - decide on which exhaust and MHD Tune.

Did some misc detailing and installed the Performance grills and spoiler. Waiting on a new low profile floor jack to get delivered then I'll do a stud conversion with the Apex kit.

That's a call to metals supermarket for some .125 plate, band saw (or any fine tooth metal saw), and a drill. Brake that bend in a vise but protect the jaws. Scotchbrite finish, file the edges.

16 ga.

I'm looking for something a little more "factory". Once I can get back to work I access to the tools to do it right.

Thanks...
I changed my vanos solenoids last year in November...
These were the two boost solenoids (pressure converter as bmw calls it)that sit on the passenger side of the engine...

Tossed on a DCI for something different.

makes the cutest little turbo whistle noises now, it's adorable

For comparison's sake, my MS6 made all the aggressive boost sounds in all the best ways, glorious fun to drive. Has been nice to be quiet for a while now, but having a bit of turbo whine is kinda nice again...

You're really getting me to want to start addressing the suspension on my car. Probably time for control arm bushing.

It solved the issue with the notchiness and shift effort after installing the BMW SSK. The weight and taller height of knob made the shift effort much smoother even during cold startup. Quality is good, but not as comfortable to rest your hand on as any of the other OEM knobs.

Just ordered Pure Stage 2. Been pussy footing around buying it for over a year, they are 15% off this week so I pulled the trigger.

If you live in so cal and aren't doing work with Speed Logic , you crazy. Rob is far and away the best indy shop I've ever worked with in my life.

I'm hopping you mean figuratively "rest".

Installed Afe front scoops. Mainly because I love the look and they were real cheap for me.

Do it, you've gone as far as you can power-wise, just about. I'm doing the opposite, planning for more power mods soon, since my suspension is pretty much sorted how I want it. I think I'm going to experiment with those AliExpress JKVK headers and the N54 intake manifold that's lying around my house, but I'm not sure what tune I'd want (StageFP OTS, or Dyno w/ Tuning Tech FS who's local). Both are expensive...

I think they're on the wrong side... they should be roughly perpendicular with the front of the car, not all crooked like that...

Looks aggressive
