Yes, it does. That's how I found everything out. It is the W&W website found in one of the threads in the Canada regional forum.

BTW, I should correct my early post, it did leave Bremerhaven on the 22nd. But, it went to other European ports before heading across the Atlantic. It left the last European port on the 27th and is on its way across the Atlantic.

Just found out from my CA that my car is leaving the port tomorrow enroute to Halifax. However on the W&W site my VIN # still shows as invalid...

Warmtoes, when your car left the port on the 22nd were you able to use the website to track your car? or does the website take a few days to update itself?

Beemerman91, it takes about 3 days or so before it shows up on their site. Mine made it on the boat on Thursday of last week and it didn't show up on the W&W site until Sunday I believe.

I put in my VIN in the W&W website and it finally came out with shipping status. My car is on the Medea boat and will arrive in Halifax by next saturday! WOW, my CA originally gave me delivery date of end of July looks like I'll be on target of end of June or maybe sooner. Looks like the Medea will be making a couple of stops before it heads to Halifax...Zeebrugge, Belgium - then to SouthHampton UK and then to Halifax.

Warmtoes - what boat are you on?

I would seriously check with your CA and find out what the hold up is, force CA to get a production number...

In a different forum you menitoned the Canadian Cars get the M Foot Rest...i've seen some pics that have M foot rest and some don't. It would make sense to have the M foot rest if you have the M - Sport package, however I saw some pics with cars that have the M-sport package but don't have the M Foot rest...since I have the M-sport pack on my car can I expect to have the M foot rest?

Unless BMW decided to change it, yes you should expect to have the M footrest.

So Beemerman, unfortunately, my car is still some time away, looks like it will be the original 10 week wait I was promised, I think you're dealer must have had some build allocations left, so you jumped the queue well before me. I found a little paper model to build of the 1er on the BMW site ... that should keep me going for a couple of months

If it is in production your CA does have a VIN.

you may want to ask him the status code for your car. The status code will indicate where it is down the line... If you ordered on the 26th...the car should be made already! You should dig a little deeper to find out where it is in production...if its in the line then you should have a VIN number by now

LOL! acouple of scenarios may of come into play... your car may of been in the line already and you decide to make a change last minute. So accomedate your change they may scheduled a new allocation/production for your car. I think CA over estimate delievery dates simply because customers have a tendency to make changes here and there last minute. Another scenario, your CA may of just forgot to put the order in. If you have a production number call BMW Canada to verify where it is in the line in Germany.
