OH NO, Driver Seat was too forward
Look what I did by accident,
Seat was too forward and I moved up a little when I heard my knee hit the dash. I thought of taking the time to remove the switch and replace it with the new switch that leatherz.com sells, which will give me the rear fog lights. But I can't justify 60U$ plus another 32U$ to ship to Canada. I am schedule for a dealer visit on Friday, I will mention to see if they can pull it out. Otherwise, I will follow the intructions to remove and replace the original switch and hopefully I can push this button back out.

Yet another example of poor ergonomics. Sit in an E36 and you will be surrounded by phenomenal ergonomics, although interior build quality was a bit lax in early models. However E36 interior layout, button, function placement was excellent.
In this case, the e36 headlight switch was up high, not down on the driver's knee as in the 1er. Don't get me wrong, I like my 135, just owning other bimmers makes it easy to compare / contrast the good and bad from different generations. |

It'll pop back out. Let the dealer take care of it in your bumper to bumper warranty though.

The light switch was pushed back out as part of warranty. Nice. Thanks BMW.
