2011 DCT 135 w/PROcede track results
Hey guys,
Some of you might have read my thread when i took the car to the track with the stock tune:http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=425428 Well were's my update now that i have the N55 PROcede v4 and the Helix IC. Full mods are: N55 PROcede v4, Helix N55 IC kit , HP autowerks N55 airfilter & 21lbs battery kit, 18x8.5 SSR type-C's with 225F/255R dunlop star specs, Berk catback. I'm # 6531 the car on the left was actually a C63 AMG MB with flash and headers!! (i know, i know.... he could defenatly smoke me, but not in this run) After that run i could not run better then that because my tires are shot at this point and would not grip at the lunch all the way in to 2nd, but i got another good MPH I'm very happy with the results and i'm confident that with some drag radials the car could do low 12's or even high 11's . |

12.5 with just tune/air filter/intercooler? On worn tires? Very nice!

Very nice, have you ran a JB3 n54 yet? How do you think you would compare? Those are some pretty nice times you got there.

Stock the best I ever ran was a 13.69. With the JB3 I dropped that to a 13.17 on street tires. So if the jb3 can cut over 1/2 a second on the dragstrip, there is no reason why a full tune such as the Procede can't cut 8/10 of a second on a dct 135i.

Hey guys,
I have an N55 as well and am eager to start modding my car. So far all i order was a cf trunk and hood from iCarbon. Now id like to do some performance mods. Where did you buy your helix intercooler? did you see a nice gain? also, can anyone give me some preference on a really good track tire... i plan to take my car to mid-ohio. The Vishnu V4 tune will be the first performance mod I get once I take my car out of storage. Thanks for reading, appreciate your guy's info. |

I ran 12.7 with SSTT and DCI only.. auto 2008..
stock tires wait forgot..i was running 110 octane though... and it made a real difference

I got the IC directly from alex@helix here on the forum.
The IC helped ALOT in keeping the performance up. The stock IC with the PROcede made the car lose performance very quickly after several WOT pulls because of heatsoak ,now the car is more consistent from pull to pull and has more top end. |
