my vehicle was produced 7/13.. will the kit still fit? Does anyone know if I could put the 135 cooling ducts in there as well or would that be pointless on a 128 unless I got the 135 wheel/fender liners for the ducting..

My gut says yes, as long as you have all the supporting pieces... My financial side says that's a lot of money to spend and not know lol... Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chip in! |

You and I are alike with that sentiment
I'm just curious what would make every subsequent production model after 9/12 different that it is a disclaimer on product pages

I'm sure all they know is it fits specific production years... It could possibly fit your year car... And I don't see why it wouldn't(with all the supporting parts that come in the kit)... Hopefully someone can help here soon! |

I was originally thinking to re-drill the backing plate and not the hub, so I hadn't thought of it from that angle, but I don't think that's an option. The faces of the knuckle that have the bolt circle on drop off pretty much right outside of the bolt head diameter. I haven't measured, but I don't think there'd be enough room to re-drill the larger bolt circle on them. Plus I'd be worried about not getting the holes concentric around the hub.

Tried wiring in the sport seats I swapped into my car, but they weren't working. Now I need to figure out how to deflate the passenger side bolster without power, preferably without having to puncture them.

When I swapped manual sport seats into my car I just re-pinned the seat connector so that the power and ground from the car that had been going to the PWM module for the original heated seats went to the bolsters instead. |

Hey guys. The 1er mutt is back on the ground with the new custom 3DM Prototype Ohlins installed. Test drive was... Sublime. Even with the alignment eyeballed crappily.

I took the seats out, vacuumed the carpet & conditioned the leather. Still have a few other things to clean out, but I'm happy with how it's turning out.

I don't remember where I found it, but this is the driver's side pinout I used when I did my swap. If the sport seats you got are out of an e90, I'm not sure if they have the same pinout.
I think on the seat side I moved the Pin 8 wire to Pin 13 and the Pin 4 wire to Pin 7, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I'd imagine you could run both power wires to one pin and both grounds to the other and as long as you didn't try to adjust the bolsters with the heated seats on it wouldn't be an issue. But I'm not exactly an electrical guy so don't quote me on that. |

FFS, this is something that doesn't have to be kludged together, it's a bolt on with factory parts. Buy the parts from the wrecking yard. BOLT IT ON. Drive off in to the sunset.

The good:
P3 vent gauge installed... Rear BMW Performance rotors installed(front/rear installed) Dedicated iPad to house all my car related(BMW) info and apps... The bad: Drivers side head light is on its way out, daytime run light doesn't work, fiddlesticks... Sheered a guide bolt off completely while installing rear caliper, was hard to get a good angle while torquing the bottom bolt to spec, more fiddlesticks... The expensive: Bought a new drivers side headlight(was on my to do list anyway) complete assembly... Scheduled installation, coding and guide pin bolt extraction for Wednesday... |

Seriously though, if you need something to make I'm sure I could whip something up. How big a chunk of metal can you handle? Designed a mounting bracket for the amp today. Do you do sheet metal as well?
