Sprint Booster BDD401 for MT

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
I bought this for my 2008 135i Manual back in 2008. I removed it before I sold it a couple years ago. Just trying to get rid of old stuff. $50 + shipping.

From what I understand this ONLY works with manual transmission, but it might also work on the 335i MT from the same generation. (that's what Google says) All I know is that it still worked on my 135i when I removed it. I just have the device not the box or manual. Installation is simple though. You just remove the gas pedal, which is held on by one allen screw IIRC, and then you just put this between the cable on the pedal and the plug on the floor. (the instructions for the newer ones look identical except the newer ones have an on/off switch)

Note: If you want this please reply to this thread so that I get email notification as I don’t visit this forum very often and may not see a private message for a while.

I'm interested if it does not conflict with MHD?

It runs completely independently. Think of it as adding a sport button.

Well Damn that was fast shipping!

Best $50 bucks and 5 minutes, 1 bolt mod I have ever done.

Feels like a linear cable operated throttle from days of olde. Push it 1/4 and you get 1/4 instead of an 1/8th.

You acclimate very quickly to the new range and car seems peppier...even though it really is just using more throttle per cm of travel.

Thanks!!!!
