F20/F21 brakes on E82

Has anyone done this or know if it'll work?

I can get my hands on the blue M sport calipers from the M135i but obviously only want them if they will fit. Lots of contrasting information about as to whether it'll be a straight swap so hoping someone could help

According to RealOEM, the 135i and M135i rotors have different part numbers (expected that). So ultimately I think you'd have to make sure the rotor was the same or very similar thickness, and that the caliper mounting points are the same. Couldn't seem to dig up that info on specs sheets. Good luck.

Have you tried the F20/F21 sites?

Well front brake discs are almost same diameter f20 is 340mm diameter and 30mm thickness vs e82 338mm diameter and 26mm thickness. Its amazing how much thicker they are vs e82 rotors.

There isn't any unless you were planning to run the F20 calipers with E82 rotors... which likely wouldn't work because they are different.

Assuming you'd run F20 calipers and rotors, hub design is what is gonna matter. If the design is different at all the rotor design and caliper design will be adjusted and cause spacing issues on the E82

Excellent many thanks.

I do have the rotors (if they are the discs!) so hopefully just down to the hub...

If you have the rotors already then you can check it on the hub now instead of wondering and hoping. As far as the caliper mounting points, you can always get a bracket custom made at a machine shop.

I missed the point that you have a 125, read it wrong. You'll probably want to do brake lines as well.
