LOL!!
I didn't want to trim either but it was really easy once the intercooler was removed. I think meth is next on the cards. I have to admit that meth scares the S**T out of me. I'm happy with the car at the moment but I know it'll only last a few weeks until I get over the IC and want the next mod. The cure for this disease is simple, just disable the tune and drive the car stock for a couple of days then jump back to 15psi and bobs your uncle. |

She's bit of a lead foot anyway so she's probably testing out the new IC.
Last week she took it out and came back with her heart beating out of her chest saying 'OMG I just raced a WRX and smashed him'. She said she loves it and can't trust herself in it. I should hook up a NOS bottle in the car and scare the crap out of her. |

Are You gonna go down the meth route Orl's?
I'm a little hesitant but the power gain it provides may tip me over the edge in the near future. Waiting to see the new Coolingmist VC2 that is scheduled to be ready in April. |

In the meantime I am pretty content with the power my car is making and its running smooth with no problems at all. I dont really like to do something to my car that I know nothing about. All my other mods I researched a fair bit before buying but meth is one thing I just cant seem to get my head around! and having no real assistance in bris doesnt help my situation. |

That is scary. I agree with you 100%. Let's just enjoy the car as is for now and time will tell. I'm really happy with the way my car is going also. |

TimMc and I were talking about meth vs a FMIC sometime down the track last night at the BMW Club AGM, and we felt the same as JB and Orlin. FMIC seems a nice passive solution to cooler temps and at the stage you've got things, JB, it's not like you need the killer wasps anymore.

Thanks for post up the review! That's odd you had to trim though. If you check this thread on another 135i install, he didn't have to trim the front pieces and the intercooler goes right behind it. I wonder if something is different on the non us versions.
Here is the thread in reference. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433930 The logs look really good though Thanks! Michael |
