Gets in the way of my elbow when shifting if down, and flops down at inopportune moments when up. I never use it even when on long highway drives.

I've been thinking of getting rid of the door armrest. Neither are optimal for actual driving. But I do like them sometimes.

Hilarious, I use both - all the time (door arm rest and center arm rest). Likely would not want them for a track car but for a DD I find them both useful and in good spots.

And that took all of 20 minutes to install. Need more car projects.

Installed stainless brake lines, new bleed nipples, e9X clutch delay/lock valve, new DOT4 LV fluid and flush.
The CDV is a must, what an incredible difference... especially combined with the clutch bump stop. |

Just remove the valve and throw it away. Or punch the metal tab out of it and reinstall. No need to buy a replacement.
Sellers of those should be ashamed of themselves, such a waste of money.

Finally got around to the clutch delay valve delete on Little Red (2011 128i, 141k miles). I agree with everyone else who has done this - Wow! Faster, crisper, smoother shifts - such a great mod for $0.00! If you have a manual BMW, and have not done this/had it done, I recommend it highly.

I will caution anyone doing the CVD delete that you'll get air in the system and need to bleed it out. Luckily it's brake fluid and you may as well consider doing that at the same time.
Just something to keep in mind for anyone that decides to do the swap that there's more to it... |

Good time for a fluid flush. If you don't want to replace fluid, you can apply pressure to the reservoir and push fluid through the clutch slave bleed valve. May need to top up the reservoir though. |

Got green light from wife to upgrade turbos next year. Trying to decide. Kinda set between either pure600 or rbtwo or rb two plus. Anyone here have any of those installed? One nice thing about the pure600 is no core charge to deal with I guess. I've been leaning towards the rb twos though.

Maybe the Last wash for this Season
Love the Look of the te37's and how it works with 18" instead of oem m359 19's..

It works mainly cause it's a 1M. What doesn't?

Just drove it.
It was only for my (short) commute to work and small errands afterwards, but it looks like it's going to be the last 70+ degree day, potentially till next spring, so taking it for a spin before it goes into it's winter slumber. |
