IMO getting the 1 series without the sport package is like ordering a pizza without cheese.

The sport seats (both manual and power) have an electrical switch to adjust the backrest width. Only the power seats have the electrical lumbar adjustment, however.

You get the sport seats with the sport package option. Note - the standard seats don't have a tilt adjustment, another reason to go for the sport package option.

The most HUGE drawback to the sport package is the damn W style wheels. If you are an addict, then you must keep them clean. To keep them clean, you will go nuts. I'm going for Bremmer Kraft 5 spoke as soon as possible :|

The 261M's are a bit hard to clean but not as hard as some others I've had before. At least all the surfaces are smooth without little indents to trap dirt everywhere. And, you can get a washing glove between the double spokes which is nice.

the 263 W spokes are a bit annoying but i have had worse. The main issue is all of the spokes lol, the crevices arent bad though.

overall, yes it sucks to keep them clean. But the sport pkg was definatly a good option

never thought of the W spoke wheels going to be a problem.
I like my wheels clean and shiny all times.
maybe I should look for simple 5 spokes after market wheel
any suggestions?

Go and check out the W spoke I live in a condo, and even though I can go downstairs and hose it down, I don't. Let's put it in perspective.

You wash your car. It's nice and shiny. The next day, your wheels are dusty. Not too bad but visible. A day more or so and it's visibly more gray on the front. Great.

Would you hose it down with water? Nah. You'd spalsh on your probably still clean car, or have to dry it off manually anyway.

I use One Step Wax spray lightly on the wheels and wipe off. Takes the brake dust off and makes the wheels shiny and slippery. It's tedious as heck on the W spokes.

Here is another solution - don't get the sport package but just buy the sport seats ($800). I did this because I just don't like the M sport wheels. Granted, you also don't get the M sport steering wheel or shift knob (or, I know, the liner) but I view these parts as largely cosmetic. The regular steering wheel is the same as the 335 sport wheel and is great by my standards. Just a thought.

for the 135 thats an option. on the 128 i dont think it would be worth it just getting the sport seats. the sport pkg does alot to the car (not just the sport seats or tires, but lowered suspension)

RE. 128i sport package in CANADA...

I want the lowered suspension but do you seriously like the 18's on the 128i? Both 18 options on the 135 are much nicer IMO. What do you think? Any way of getting around this?

I'll agree they look good in black. But I want a white or grey exterior. Do you know where there are pictures of cars like that?

if you plan on driving your car in the wintertime, you should be getting winter tires regardless, all seasons + RWD + snow/ice = losing formula
